EXTERIOR LIGHTING
What Happened
The auxiliary driving lamps on your FJ Cruiser are designed to provide extra light when driving. They're mounted on the front bumper and use 55-watt bulbs that are too bright, which is a safety issue.
Risk if Unfixed
If you're on the road at night, the intense light from these lamps could temporarily blind drivers coming from the opposite direction, increasing the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Toyota dealer will swap out the 55-watt bulbs for 35-watt ones, which are safer for oncoming traffic. This repair is free, and you'll get a notice in the mail when it's time to schedule the fix.
