What Happened
The power window switch in your vehicle controls all the windows. In some 2007-2009 models, a manufacturing issue made the switch prone to overheating.
Risk if Unfixed
If the switch overheats, it could catch fire, which is a serious safety risk. This could happen when you're driving or parked.
Free Fix
Your dealer will inspect the switch and apply a special heat-resistant grease to prevent it from overheating, or replace it if it's already damaged – both services are free of charge.
