What Happened
The fuel line in your 2013 Escape is a hose that carries gasoline from your engine to the fuel tank. It's possible that this hose can split and leak fuel.
Risk if Unfixed
If the fuel line splits and you're near a spark, such as from your engine or a nearby electrical source, a fire could break out, putting you and others at risk of injury.
Free Fix
Your Ford dealer will replace the faulty fuel line with a new one, free of charge. They'll also provide a rental vehicle if you need one, all at no cost to you.
