What Happened
The power steering hose in your Acura or Honda is a critical part that brings power steering fluid to your wheels. In some 2003-2008 models, this hose can break down quickly if it gets too hot, leading to cracks and leaks.
Risk if Unfixed
If the hose fails, power steering fluid can leak onto the hot catalytic converter, causing smoke and possibly starting a small fire under the hood.
