What Happened
The battery cables in your Sentra play a crucial role in getting your engine started. In some 2010-2011 models, the protective coating on the battery terminal stud is too thick, which can cause a voltage drop.
Risk if Unfixed
If this issue occurs, your engine may stall while you're driving, and you might not be able to restart it. This increases the risk of a crash, especially if you're on a busy road or in a critical driving situation.
Free Fix
Your Nissan dealer will replace the faulty battery terminal and cover with a new one, completely free of charge. You'll get a notification letter, and you should schedule the repair as soon as possible.
