What Happened
There's a problem with the electrical system in your 2010 Mazda3, specifically where the engine harness and starter motor meet. This can cause the harness to wear out and potentially short-circuit.

If the short-circuit happens, the main fuse might blow, and your engine could stall. If this happens, you might not be able to restart the engine, which could lead to a crash.

How to Get This Fixed

Free Fix
Mazda will inspect your engine harness and add a protective clip to prevent damage. If needed, they'll repair the harness for free. This will be done at a dealership starting May 6, 2009.
