Your minivan's frontal air bag sensors, which help protect you in certain types of crashes, may be at risk of corroding and failing due to exposure to salt used for winter road de-icing in certain states.

If one or both of these sensors fail, you won't get the extra air bag protection they provide in a frontal crash, which could put you at risk of injury.
