What Happened
The fuel system in your vehicle is responsible for delivering gasoline to your engine. In some V6 engine models, there's a problem where fuel isn't reaching the engine, even when the fuel level light isn't on.
Risk if Unfixed
If the engine suddenly stops running, you won't be able to restart it, which could lead to a crash. This is a serious situation.

How to Get This Fixed

Free Fix
Your Cadillac dealer will update your vehicle's computer system with new software free of charge. They'll do this to prevent the engine from shutting down unexpectedly, and it's been available since March 2006. Schedule the update as soon as possible.
