What Happened
The seatbelt in your rear seats has a little mechanism that locks the belt in place. In some cases, this mechanism might not work correctly because of missing pins.
Risk if Unfixed
If the seatbelt locking mechanism fails, it could let the belt slip out of place during a crash. This means the person using the seatbelt could get seriously hurt or even killed.
Free Fix
Your Mazda dealer will check the rear seatbelts and replace the faulty mechanism to make sure it works properly. This repair is free, and you should schedule it as soon as you get this notice.
