VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL:ACCELERATOR PEDAL
What Happened
The accelerator pedal in your vehicle is controlled by a pedal arm that connects to the engine. In hot weather, this arm may stick to its bracket and not return to the idle position when you lift your foot.
Risk if Unfixed
If this happens, your car could accelerate unexpectedly and lose control, increasing the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your dealer will check the pedal arm and replace it with a new assembly, if needed. This repair will be done at no cost to you, and you should schedule it as soon as possible.
