What Happened
Your vehicle may have a faulty sensor that helps the airbag deploy correctly. This sensor is installed in the passenger seat-back pad and can prevent the side airbag from turning off if you're not sitting properly.

If you're not sitting correctly and are involved in a crash, the side airbag may deploy and injure you.

Free Fix
Honda will replace the passenger seat-back pad with a new one that has the correct sensor, free of charge. You should contact Honda at 1-800-999-1009 to schedule an appointment.
