ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING

EVENT_SUMMARY
A small electrical component in your van's anti-lock braking system (ABS) might be faulty, causing a short circuit.
RISK_ASSESSMENT
This could lead to a malfunctioning ABS system, which could cause the warning light to come on, or even a fire while you're driving or when the vehicle is unattended.
RESOLUTION_PROTOCOL
A Ford dealership will install a new fuse and a heat shield to prevent the issue, and you won't have to pay for it. Additionally, Ford is extending the warranty for the ABS module to 10 years or 150,000 miles, whichever comes first.
