What Happened
The fuel rail crossover tube is a small metal piece that keeps the fuel rail connected to your engine. In certain 2014-2015 Tahoe and Yukon models with a 5.3L V8 engine, the screws that hold it in place weren't made correctly and could break.
Risk if Unfixed
If the screw breaks, fuel could leak from the crossover joint, causing your engine to stall. If there's an ignition source nearby, a fire could start in the engine compartment.

How to Get This Fixed

Your dealer will inspect the fuel rail crossover tube and replace the retainer screws if needed. This repair is free, and you should schedule it as soon as you get the recall notice.
