What Happened
Your vehicle's exhaust system has a small part that might catch debris from the road and ignite, causing a fire. On certain models, the pre-catalyst might also overheat and damage the catalyst substrate, which could lead to engine damage and potentially start a fire.

Free Fix
The dealership will remove the faulty exhaust pipe hanger pin, install heat shields to prevent oil spillage, and test and replace the pre-catalyst if necessary. This will be done at no cost to you.
