What Happened
Your vehicle's driver's side seat belt webbing may be damaged due to contact with the seat recliner during a crash test. Ford is replacing the webbing to ensure it meets safety standards.
Risk if Unfixed
If the webbing is damaged, you may be at increased risk of injury in a crash.
Free Fix
Ford will install a protective insert behind the driver's side seat lower trim panel at no cost to you, and you'll be notified starting June 21, 2002, when it's time to bring your vehicle in.
