What Happened
The rear subframe in your Range Rover Sport is a critical structural component that helps keep your vehicle stable. Over time, it may develop small cracks that can compromise its strength.
Risk if Unfixed
If the subframe cracks, it could weaken the entire structure of your vehicle, making it more vulnerable in a crash. This could increase the risk of injury to you and your passengers. The crack could also affect your vehicle's handling, making it harder to steer and control, which could lead to another crash.
Free Fix
Your Land Rover dealer will inspect the rear subframe and replace it if necessary, at no cost to you. You'll receive a notification letter with more information, and you can also call Land Rover customer service at 1-800-637-6837 for more assistance.

Original — What Happened
Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2024-2026 Range Rover Sport vehicles. Cracks may develop in the rear subframe.

A cracked subframe may have reduced structural integrity, increasing the risk of injury during a crash. A crack may also diminish handling and control, increasing the risk of a crash.
Original — Remedy
Dealers will inspect and replace the rear subframe as necessary, free of charge. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk are expected to be mailed November 20, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available. Owners may contact Land Rover customer service at 1-800-637-6837. Land Rover's numbers for this recall are D165 and D166.
