SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:ANTILOCK/TRACTION CONTROL/ELECTRONIC LIMITED SLIP:CONTROL UNIT/MODULE

Manufacturer

What Happened
The Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) module is like the brain of your brakes, controlling how your wheels stop. In some 2010-2015 models, this module can leak brake fluid and cause an electrical short, leading to a fire in your engine compartment while parked or driving.
Risk if Unfixed
If this happens, your engine can catch fire while you're parked or driving, which can cause serious injury. You could be hurt by the fire or get trapped in a burning vehicle.
Free Fix
Park your vehicle outside, away from any buildings, until your dealer can replace the faulty ABS fuse at no cost to you. This will prevent the electrical short and prevent a potential fire. Your dealer will take care of this repair free of charge.
