What Happened
The fuel filter in your vehicle is a crucial part that keeps your gasoline system working smoothly. The affected filter, made by FRAM, might not have been manufactured correctly, affecting how it connects to your fuel line.
Risk if Unfixed
If the connection isn't secure, fuel could leak out, and if a spark is present, it could catch fire. This is a serious situation that could put you and others at risk.
Free Fix
Your fuel filter will be replaced with a new one that meets the correct specifications, free of charge. Your dealer or a FRAM representative will contact you to schedule the repair once the recall begins.

CERTAIN REPLACEMENT FUEL FILTERS, FRAM BRAND NAME P/N G3727, WITH DATE CODES X52911 THROUGH X60801 SEQUENTIALLY OR X600141 AND A MEXICO COUNTRY OR ORIGIN MARKING ON THE FUEL FILTER HOUSING MANUFACTURED FROM OCTOBER 18, 2005, THROUGH MARCH 21, 2006, SOLD FOR USE ON THE VEHICLES LISTED ABOVE AND ON CERTAIN SCHOOL BUSES. (TO SEE THE SCHOOL BUS ENGINE SIZES, CLICK ON "DOCUMENT SEARCH" AND THEN "BUS APPLICATIONS"). THE CONNECTOR ON THE FUEL FILTER WAS NOT MANUFACTURED TO HONEYWELL'S SPECIFICATION. AS A RESULT, THE O-RING MAY NOT SEAT CORRECTLY ON THE FUEL LINE.

EXTERIOR LIGHTING:BRAKE LIGHTS:SWITCH

What Happened
The multifunction switch controls your brake lights and hazard lights. In some cases, this switch can develop a problem that causes the lights to stop working.
Risk if Unfixed
If your brake lights and rear hazard lights fail, a driver behind you might not see that you're stopping or stopped, and this could lead to a crash.
Free Fix
Your dealer will replace the faulty switch with a new one and apply grease to the contacts to prevent future issues. If your hazard slider button is stuck, they'll replace the entire switch. This repair is free, and you should schedule it as soon as you get the recall notice.

THE LOSS OF STOP LAMPS AND REAR HAZARD LAMPS COULD FAIL TO WARN A FOLLOWING DRIVER THAT THE VEHICLE IS BRAKING AND/OR IS STOPPED AND COULD LEAD TO A VEHICLE CRASH.

DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE HAZARD WARNING FLASHER SWITCH AND APPLY SPECIAL GREASE TO THE CONTACTS AT THE TIME OF INSTALLATION OF THE MODULE FREE OF CHARGE. THE REPAIR WOULD BE USED IN VEHICLES IN WHICH THE HAZARD SLIDER BUTTON IS STILL MOVABLE. IF A VEHICLE HAS A HAZARD SLIDER BUTTON THAT IS NOT MOVABLE (FROZEN), THE ENTIRE MULTIFUNCTION SWITCH WILL BE REPLACED. THE RECALL BEGAN ON APRIL 13, 2005. The replacement lamps you installed on your vehicle are for your corner lights, turn signals, and headlights. In some cases, these lamps might not have the correct amber reflectors, which are required by law.
Risk if Unfixed
If your vehicle's corner lights and turn signals are missing amber reflectors, they won't illuminate properly, making it harder for other drivers to see you, especially at night. This could lead to a vehicle crash without warning.
