What Happened
The fuel pressure regulator in your vehicle is a safety device that helps control the fuel pressure in your tank. In some cases, this regulator may have been installed without a crucial rubber seal, which could cause it to fail.
Risk if Unfixed
If the regulator fails, fuel could leak out and potentially ignite, causing a fire. This is a serious safety risk that could happen while you're driving or parked.
Free Fix
Delphi will replace the faulty fuel pressure regulator with a new one that has the necessary seal, at no cost to you. Your dealer will contact you when the replacement is ready, and you should follow their instructions to schedule the repair.
