LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES:TRUNK LID:LOCK

Manufacturer
GENERAL MOTORS CORP.
What Happened
The emergency trunk release handle is the part that lets you open the trunk if you're locked inside. It's possible that the cable attached to it might be installed or forced out of position.
Risk if Unfixed
If that happens, you or someone trapped in the trunk might need more force to open the trunk, which could delay escape in an emergency.
Free Fix
Your Buick dealer will adjust the emergency trunk release cable to ensure it works properly, and this repair is completely free. You should contact them to schedule the fix as soon as possible.
