The engine oil cooler line in your M760Li is a vital part that helps keep your engine running smoothly. In some 2017-2018 models, it was installed incorrectly, which could cause an oil leak.
Risk if Unfixed
If oil leaks onto your front brake discs, you'll need to press the brake pedal a bit harder to stop. This could lead to a longer stopping distance, increasing the risk of a crash.

Your BMW dealer will replace the faulty engine oil cooler line with a correct one, free of charge. You'll get a notification when it's time to schedule the repair, and you won't pay a dime.

Original — What Happened
BMW of North America, LLC (BMW) is recalling certain 2017-2018 M760Li xDrive vehicles. The affected vehicles may have had incorrect engine oil cooler line installed, causing an oil leak in the engine compartment.
