What Happened
Your motorcycle's rear wheel drive bearing and rear axle are crucial for stable handling. In some 2007-2009 F 800 S and F 800 ST models, these parts might not have the correct tolerances and could wear down prematurely.
Risk if Unfixed
If the bearing and axle wear out, you could lose control of your motorcycle, especially when cornering or braking hard. This increases the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your dealer will check the wheel bearing, and if needed, replace it and the rear axle at no charge. This repair is free, and you should schedule it as soon as possible.
