Component
EXTERIOR LIGHTING
Manufacturer
BMW of North America, LLC
What Happened
Your vehicle's left rear taillight assembly is the part that helps other drivers see your brake lights and turn signals. In some 2013-2015 BMW 7-Series models, you might have gotten a replacement that doesn't work correctly.
Risk if Unfixed
If your left rear taillight is faulty, it might not be visible to other drivers, making it harder for them to see when you're slowing down or turning. This could increase the risk of a crash, especially at night or in low-light conditions.
Free Fix
Your BMW dealer will check and replace the left rear taillight assembly with the correct one, free of charge. You'll get a notice in the mail with instructions on how to schedule the repair.
