What Happened
Your vehicle's rear track control arm has a potential issue with moisture entering its mounting bushing and bolt combination, causing corrosion.
Risk if Unfixed
If left unchecked, corrosion could prevent the control arm from moving freely, which could lead to problems with your vehicle's suspension and potentially cause an accident.
Free Fix
Audi dealers will replace the track control arms for free. If you haven't already, you should contact Audi at 1-800-822-2834 to schedule a service date and ensure the repair is done in a timely manner.

DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE TRACK CONTROL ARMS. OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN APRIL 12, 2002. OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT AUDI AT 1-800-822-2834.

What Happened
Your vehicle's front control arm, which helps with steering and stability, may not work properly in sharp turns or sudden lane changes at high speeds.
Risk if Unfixed
If your vehicle loses control, you could be involved in a crash, which could result in injury.
Free Fix
The dealership will replace your vehicle's front stabilizers, install a modified control arm, and add firmer shock absorbers and a rear spoiler at no cost to you.

DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE FRONT STABILIZERS IN FRONT DRIVE AUDI TT'S AND THE FRONT AND REAR STABILIZERS IN AUDI TT'S EQUIPPED WITH QUATTRO DRIVE. A MODIFIED CONTROL ARM WILL BE INSTALLED IN FRONT TOGETHER WITH FIRMER SHOCK ABSORBERS IN FRONT AND REAR. IN ADDITION AUDI WILL INSTALL A REAR SPOILER.
