SEAT BELTS:REAR/OTHER:RETRACTOR

Manufacturer
Volkswagen Group of America, Inc.
What Happened
The automatic locking retractor on your vehicle's seat belts is a critical safety feature that helps keep a child seat secure. In some 2025 Audi models, this retractor may not work properly when a child seat is installed, which could lead to a loose seat.
Risk if Unfixed
If the retractor fails, a child seat might not be securely fastened, increasing the risk of serious injury or harm to a child during a crash.
Free Fix
Your Audi dealer will inspect the seat belt assemblies and replace them as needed, at no cost to you. You should schedule the repair as soon as you get the recall notice.

What Happened

Risk if Unfixed
In a crash, a faulty seat belt could let you move around freely, increasing the risk of serious injury or even ejection from the vehicle.
Free Fix
Your Audi or Volkswagen dealer will replace the front seat belts with new ones, at no cost to you. This is a free repair, and you should contact the dealer to schedule it as soon as possible.
